Beep Beep Salem Downtown Parking Changes
June 1 - July 1
Salem is converting to a paid-on street parking system in the downtown in July.
Beep Beep Salem is the parking pay app that users will be able to install and use at all city pay stations, including the Airport and the Capitol Mall. This will make paying for parking more convenient for all patrons. This will be a pay-by-plate system rather than a pay-and-display system.
Site work is scheduled to begin on June 1 and will last the majority of the month. The paid parking system launch is scheduled for July 1. Parking will remain free in the downtown parking garages for customers and visitors.
